Track Teams At Bottineau

As the spring sports seasons continue, the weather has meant the cancellation or postponement of a number of events. Teams, meanwhile, have taken advantage of every opportunity they have had to compete. Area teams were at the Bottineau Varsity Meet on Tuesday, Apr. 21.
On the boys’ side, Devils Lake took home first place with 92 team points, followed by Rugby with 75, New Town with 68, Bottineau with 64 and Powers Lake-Burke Central rounding out the top five with 63. Parshall finished in fifteenth with 18.5 team points. Stanley was 17th with 16 points. Lewis and Clark Plaza was 22nd with 1 point.
On the girls’ side, Rugby was first with 97.5 team points, followed by Velva-Drake/Anamoose with 83, Rolette/Wolford with 69, Devils Lake with 68.5 and Bottineau rounding out the top five with 60.5. Parshall was 15th with 16 points. Stanley and New Town were among four teams tied at 18th with 9 points. Lewis and Clark Plaza was 22nd with 6 points.
