Stanley FFA Success At 97th State FFA Convention
Stanley FFA had twenty-two members participate at the 97th North Dakota State FFA Convention held June 1-4 at North Dakota State University. The Meats Evaluation Team took 1st place and has the opportunity to compete at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis in October. The members of this team are Brooklyn Weyrauch, who placed 1st overall individually; Cooper Sem, who placed 6th; Breanna Istilart, who placed 7th; Rebecca Littlefield, who was 14th; and Sidney Enerson, who received a Silver Award.
Other results included: Landon Goettle was the 2nd place overall individual in the Intermediate Ag Mechanics Contest. Our Advanced Ag Mechanics team placed 6th overall with team members: Drew Pennington, 8th place individual; Carter Goettle, Silver Award; Henry Sorenson and Kayden Uran with Bronze Awards. The Floriculture team received a Bronze Award, with members Jozey Sorenson and Kaylynn Desjarlais receiving Silver Awards; and Rio DeTienne and Camryn Ruiz receiving Bronze Awards. In Foods Science, Brayden Weyrauch and Corra Parkinson received Bronze Awards. In Small Animal Care, Corra Parkinson received a Bronze Award; and in Environmental and Natural Resources, Pierce Tronset, Jennika Johnson and Trent Feldman all received Bronze Awards.
