Sibyl Center Hosts Two Of A Kind
Saturday, Sept. 12 was set to see the return of South of Mason, however due to health issues for one of their members, Matt Felts and Justin Terry of South of Mason took to the stage as Two of a Kind.
Jeremie Hudson was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor with surgery scheduled soon. While performing, both Felts and Terry, offered their support for their bandmate. They also shared information on how to support him and his family through a GoFundMe account. They also offered some of their own merchandise as a way to raise funds for their friend.
The evening’s performance started with Sibyl Center board member Nicole Biwer and Dave Diffely performing. That was followed by Felts and Terry each performing on their own, before coming together for a few numbers. The final number, “Elvira”, saw Carl Kannianen and Taryn Lumley join them to provide the needed quartet for the song.
On Saturday, Sept. 19 at 7:00 p.m., a new act will take to the stage with Henri Herbert, a rock and blues pianist who performs with The Fury.
Country music star Ronnie McDowell will take to the stage on Saturday, Sept. 26 at 7:00 p.m. With more than thirty top 40 songs including Older Women and The King is Gone, this will be another of the big names coming to the Sibyl Center this year.
On Saturday, Oct. 10 at 7:00 p.m. Dan Hare Centerfield comes to the Sibyl Center. This concert will be a John Fogerty and Creedence Clearwater revival tribute.
The season wraps up this year with another big name coming to the Sibyl Center. Country star Darryl Worley will perform on Saturday, Oct. 24 at 7:00 p.m. Known for country hits like Have You Forgotten, I Miss My Friend and Awful, Beautiful Life, this is sure to be another full house.
