Local Inspiring Women To Lead New Town’s Inaugural Scenic Parade

New Town chamber is excited to introduce a brand-new annual tradition for the New Town Chamber Car & Motorcycle Show: the “Scenic Parade.” This six-mile ride will take you from the heart of New Town, through Main Street, and across the Four Bears Memorial Bridge where the Missouri River beautifully meets Lake Sakakawea.
2026 marks New Town’s 75th Anniversary, and as part of the celebration, Erika Littlefield, Fahtima Finley and Brylynn Leiggh Wollschlager will be leading the parade.
Our local girls are representing the gifts, influence, and transformative power of women at every stage of life, demonstrating that from a very young age to more experienced years, women make a lasting impact in our communities.
2026 also marks Reynolds Insurance’s 80th Anniversary, and Erika Littlefield, Miss Norsk Høstfest, will be leading the New Town Car & Motorcycle Show parade with Reynolds Insurance Agency. Erika grew up on a farm east of New Town, and she was crowned Miss Norsk Høstfest 2025 on Saturday, September 6th, 2025, during the annual competition held at the Beowulf Golf Course in Minot, ND. Erika graduated from Stanley Public Schools this year as a high school senior.
“Leading this year’s parade means so much to me because I’m proud to call New Town home, and I love being actively involved in a community that has given me so much. It’s an honor to represent the place that has shaped who I am, and to help bring people together to celebrate everything that makes our town special,” Littlefield said.
Beyond her pageant success, Erika maintained a packed schedule participating in Student Council, FBLA, Band, FFA, Track and serving as the Cheer Manager for the Stanley High School Cheer team. She recently placed 4th in Radio Broadcasting at the 2026 NDHSAA Class B State Speech Tournament. Erika also spent a year in Germany as a cultural exchange student through the prestigious Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX) program, jointly sponsored by the U.S. State Department and the German Bundestag. Erika took the stage this past weekend placing in the top eleven at the Miss North Dakota 2026 competition. Erika won the People’s Choice award and creative talent award, making it all the way to the semifinals of the competition. Our community is excited to see Erika take the stage at the Miss North Dakota 2026 pageant. We are cheering her on as she represents our area on the state level, and we can’t wait to watch her continue to shine!
Brylynn Leiggh “Brybry” Wollschlager, Four Bears Jr Pow Wow Princess 2025/2026, whose Indian name is “Light Woman” (Oh wahxah dee-Me ush) will be joining the parade accompanied by Fahtima Finley. Brybry is six years old and she just completed first grade; she also just completed her reign as the Four Bears Celebration Jr Pow Wow Princess. She enjoys soccer, running, basketball, and dancing. Her favorite color is purple, and she is an artist in the making. She is looking forward to following the pow wow circuit in 2026.
Fahtima Finley, whose Indian name is “Running Star Woman” (lxx-dah-xeei-dia wea-ush), is an enrolled member of the Three Affiliated Tribes (Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara Nation) and is also of Turtle Mountain Sioux Chippewa descent. Holding degrees in Criminal Justice and Human Services, she has dedicated twenty-four years of service to the MHA Nation. Currently, she serves as the Athletic Supervisor for the Four Bears Segment, where she promotes community wellness by hosting fitness classes, weight loss challenges, and public runs. Driven by her faith and seventeen years of sobriety, her personal passion for running evolved into a distinguished twelve-year coaching career. After competing in races across the United States, she now coaches runners ranging from elementary school students to collegiate athletes.
In 2016, she expanded her platform into modeling, debuting with Red Berry Woman and later collaborating with prominent Indigenous designers like ACONAV and Lauren Good Day. Through modeling, she conquered childhood shyness and discovered a newfound confidence that she uses to advocate for self-love and youth empowerment. Above all, Fahtima is the proud mother of five children, DeSean, Tekoah, Amarie, Gracyn, and Karter. Guided by her faith and the message of Philippians 4:13, she considers her family her greatest joy. As a dedicated mentor, she strives to inspire the next generation to never give up, challenge their limits, and relentlessly pursue their dreams.
