Commercial Club Kicks Off Summer

Commercial Club Kicks Off Summer

Stanley Commercial Club and its members held the second annual Kick-Off To Summer in Wilson Park on Monday, June 1.
This free family event featured inflatables, free swimming, games, music, vendors and free food. The goal was for local business owners to be able to share what they have to offer in a fun way.
Grillers were serving burgers, hot dogs, ribs, pulled pork sandwiches and sides. There were also door prizes to register for.
The park was full throughout the event with many people taking time out of their day to check out the activities.

Event sponsors and contributors included BNC serving pulled pork sandwiches; RTC and TCCU with baked beans, potato salad, pasta salad, water and napkins; Gooseneck sponsored plates and utensils; BBH offered popsicles; Verizon had a variety of chips; Bravera served hamburgers and hot dogs; CSW served ribs and street corn; Prairie Ford had fresh cut fries; and the Stanley Fire Department, Prairie Home Furnishings and Ace Hardware partnered with jalapeño poppers and grilled onions.
The Stanley cheer team offered face painting sponsored by RTC. The Stanley Commercial Club sponsored the Back Yard Bounce Inflatable n’ More bounce houses as well as the free swimming at the pool. Jer Bear’s Snow Shack was sponsored by Mountrail Williams Electric. George Littlecreek was in charge of the DJ services.
Promotional tables included Thrivent, The Title Team, MC Property, Copper River Floral, Dittbrenner Woodworking, and the Stanley FBLA fair style lemonade.
The commercial club says that events like this are only possible because of the generosity, teamwork, and support of local businesses, organizations, volunteers, and residents.
