Volleyball Team Drops Match To Bottineau

The Blue Jays’ volleyball team had just one match on their schedule last week as they hosted the Bottineau Stars on Tuesday, Oct. 14. Bottineau took the first two sets with scores of 25-23 and 25-19, before the Blue Jays came back to take the third set with a score of 25-21. The Stars claimed the fourth set with a score of 25 to 23 to take home the victory.
As a team, Stanley had 28 assists, 34 kills, 13 aces, 90 digs and 4 blocks.
Tylie Johnson led the team with 19 assists, followed by Maycee Copeland with 9.
Brenna Wenger had 9 kills, followed by Dani Hermanson and Maycee Copeland with 7 each, Annie Roise with 6, Taya Niemitalo with 4 and Karley Jemtrud with 1.
Tylie Johnson had 5 aces, followed by Khloe Jemtrud with 3, Dani Hermanson and Brenna Wenger with 2 each, and Annie Roise with 1.
Khloe Jemtrud had 34 digs, followed by Dani Hermanson with 19, Tylie Johnson with 11, Maycee Copeland with 9, Taya Niemitalo and Brenna Wenger with 5 each, Karley Jemtrud with 4, McKenzie Bohrer with 2 and Annie Roise with 1.
Maycee Copeland and Annie Roise each had 1.5 blocks, followed by Taya Niemitalo and Brenna Wenger with .5 each.
