Stanley Hosts Varsity Track Meet

The Stanley Blue Jays hosted a varsity track meet on Tuesday, Apr. 15. The meet had originally been scheduled for Thursday, Apr. 17, but was changed due to the weather forecast.
On the boys’ side, Stanley took home first place with 152.5 team points, followed by Powers Lake-
Burke Central with 87, New Town with 86, Kenmare-Bowbells-Burke with 68 and DLB/L&C rounding out the top five with 59. Parshall finished in 11th with 19 points.
On the girls’ side, DLB/L&C was first with 103 team points, followed by Kenmare-Bowbells-Burke with 81, Stanley with 77, Powers Lake-Burke Central with 69 and Parshall with 63. New Town finished in 14th with 11.

100 meters: Michael Crowder of PL-BC was first with a time of 11.74. Stanley’s Austin Kanenwisher was 3rd with 12.17; Oscar Garcia, 4th with 12.29; Regan Gustafson, 11th with 12.52; Kayden Uran, 13th with 12.54; Ben Hynek, 16th with 12.61; Zeke Wienbar, 24th with 12.79; Landon Hunting, 24th with 12.79; Jacob Altamirano, 35th with 13.12; Hunter Warta, 41st with 13.28; Alex Salgado, 46th with 13.51; Jud Anderson, 51st with 14.02; and Andrew Torres, 55th with 14.23. Stanley’s Zeke Wienbar was 9th with 25.29; Regan Gustafson, 15th with 25.77; Landon Hunting, 28th with 26.40; Jacob Altamirano, 40th with 27.32; Jason White, 43rd with 27.57; Alex Salgado, 49th with 28.23; and Andrew Torres, 57th with 31.27. New Town’s Treyvionne Williams was 4th with 56.70; Jemaul Williams, 14th with 59.15; Keon Cooper, 32nd with 1:05.35; and Kaiden Cooper, 44th with 1:14.72. Parshall’s Kalon Brien was 12th with 58.68, and Luis Rodriguez, 15th with 59.16.

1600 meters: New Town’s Xavier Bell was first with a time of 4:31.75; Tekoah Hood, 2nd with 4:50.48; Brycen Bell, 6th with 5:20.64; and Keon Cooper, 7th with 5:20.78. Stanley’s Landon Goettle was 8th with 5:24.01; Logan Neset, 12th with 5:32.48; and Jason White, 14th with 5:34.74. Parshall’s Tucker Lee was 10th with 5:25.99; and Brendan Haakenson, 13th with 5:34.56.
3200 meters: New Town’s Kade Lambert was first with a time of 10:40.97; Lukas Spotter Bear, 2nd with 11:00.82; and Yates White Buffalo, 3rd with 11:07.62.
110m hurdles: Austin Kanenwisher of Stanley was first with a time of 17.68, and Alex Salgado, 6th with 20.88. Parshall’s Logan Hoff was third with 20.72; Mahki Packineau, 5th with 20.80; and Easton Locken, 8th with 27.51.
300m hurdles: Stanley’s Drake Schlosser was first with a time of 43.89; Oscar Garcia, 2nd with 44.30; Kayden Uran, 3rd with 45.97; Jevon Johnson, 4th with 46.86; Austin Kanenwisher, 5th with 47.22; and Alex Salgado, 10th with 50.66. Parshall’s Logan Hoff was 8th with 49.47.
4x100 relay: Powers Lake-Burke Central was first with a time of 46.95. Stanley was second with 47.54. Parshall was 8th with 52.05.
4x200 relay: Stanley was first with a time of 1:37.10. Parshall was third with 1:43.49.
4x400 relay: Stanley was first with a time of 3:43.02.
4x800 relay: DLB/L&C was first with a time of 9:07.43. Stanley was second with 9:08.48.
Shot put: Ben Hynek of Stanley was first with a distance of 45-08.00; Levi Uran, 17th with 34-05.25; Griffin Wilson, 22nd with 33-03.75; Jud Anderson, 36th with 29-11.50; Gary Danks, 45th with 27-05.00; and Andrew Torres, 57th with 21-06.00.
