Golfers Compete At State
Stanley’s varsity boys’ golf team earned the right to compete at the State Class B golf tournament last week in Jamestown. The tournament was held on Tuesday, June 3 and Wednesday, June 4.
Oak Grove took home the team title with a score of 602. Stanley finished in 21st with a team score of 770.
Individually, Joseph Kramlich of Edgeley-Kulm was the medalist with a two day score of 146.
Stanley’s Kane Reep finished tied for 121st with a score of 188. Tyke Barstad finished tied for 128th with a score of 192. Caleb Mortensen was tied for 133rd with 194. Colter Fladeland was 137th with a score of 196. Ashton Peterson was 149th with 204. Eli Brewster was 150th with 205. There were 161 golfers in the individual competition.
