Girls Golf Season Underway

Stanley’s varsity girls’ golfers have three meets under their belt with a season that starts early each year.
On Monday, Aug. 18, the golfers were at the Kenmare/Bowbells meet. DLB took first place as a team with a score of 344, followed by Kenmare/Bowbells with 359 and Stanley with 428 in third.
Individually, Laila Christianson of DLB was first with a score of 73, followed by McKenna Mau of KB with 79, Ella Pearson of DLB with 85, Lauryn Christianson of DLB with 89, Emma Sandberg of KB with 92, Brooke Livingston of KB with 93, Cami Knutson of KB with 95, Charlotte Brekhus of KB with 95, Sharon Osteroos of DLB with 97, and Rylee Hedberg of KB rounding out the top ten with 98.
Individual scores for the Blue Jays were:

On Friday, Aug. 22, golfers were at the DesLacs Burlington Meet. DLB took first place as a team with a score of 313, followed by South Prairie Max with 374 and Rugby with 381. The Blue Jays finished seventh as a team with a score of 414.
Individually, Laila Christianson of DLB was first with a score of 73, followed by Lauryn Christianson of DLB with 79, Ella Pearson of DLB with 80, Ava Walen of DLB with 81, Addison Herzig of South Prairie/Max with 84, Brooke Kleepsie of Rugby with 88, Marly Santjer of Rugby with 89, Ava Wallin of Williams County with 90, Natasha Brekhus of KB with 90 and Kaylee Austin of DLB with 92.

Individually, Laila Christianson of DLB was first with a 74, followed by McKenna Mau of KB with 83, Ella Pearson of DLB with 86, Ava Wallin of Williams County with 90, Lauryn Christianson of DLB with 91, Cami Knutson of KB with 96, Emma Sandberg of KB with 97, Charlotte Brekhus of KB with 100, Sharon Osteroos of DLB with 101 and Ava Walen of DLB with 101.
