Blue Jays End Season Hosting DLB

The Blue Jay varsity football team took to the Lyne Enget field for the last time this season on Friday, Oct. 17 when they hosted the DLB Lakers.
The Lakers got on the board in the first quarter on a six yard rushing touchdown with the two point conversion failing to take the 6-0 lead. The score remained the same until the third quarter, when the Blue Jays scored on a 67 yard pass from Kane Reep to Jevon Johnson with the point after kick good to give the Blue Jays the 7-6 lead. With less than one minute left on the clock, DLB scored on a three yard run with the two point conversion failing, to give the Lakers back the lead with a score of 12-7. That would be the final score in the game.
As a team, the Blue Jays had 213 yards of total offense, with 137 passing yards and 76 rushing yards. They committed two turnovers, one fumble and one interception. The Lakers had 295 yards of total offense, with 151 passing yards and 144 rushing yards.
