Blue Jay Track Teams Have Busy Week

It was a busy week for the Stanley Blue Jays track teams with three meets on their schedule. On Tuesday, Apr. 23 the Blue Jays hosted their varsity meet. On Thursday, Apr. 23, the varsity team was in Rugby while the track in Stanley was the site for a junior high meet.

At home on Tuesday, Apr. 23, the Blue Jays hosted their only varsity meet of the season.
On the girls’ side, Killdeer took home first place as a team with 90 points, followed by Hazen with 86, Central McLean with 78.5, Bishop Ryan with 64.5 and Nedrose with 63 rounding out the top five. The Blue Jays were eighth with 41, New Town was fifteenth with 8 and Parshall was seventeenth with 2.
On the boys’ side, Hazen was first with 87, followed by New Town with 84, Central McLean with 80, Killdeer with 71, and DLB-L&C and Stanley tied for 63 to round out the top five. Parshall finished in seventeenth with 4.5.

100 meters: Lucas Sims of Central McLean was first with a time of 11.59. Stanley’s Drake Schlosser was third with 11.95; Oscar Garcia, 21st with 12.78; Logan Longmuir, 23rd with 12.79; Kolton Longmuir, 31st with 12.92; Braxton Istilart, 37th with 13.08; Dustin Keen, 39th with 13.11; Lane Vachal, 42nd with 13.19; Landon Hunting, 53rd with 13.56; Zeke Wienbar, 55th with 13.63; Regan Gustafson, 56th with 13.64; Jacob Altamirano, 64th with 13.86; and Hunter Warta, 75th with 14.70.
200 meters: Lucas Sims of Central McLean was first with a time of 23.33. 800 meters: New Town’s Xavier Bell was first with a time of 2:01.45. Logan Neset of Stanley was 7th with 2:21.43; Jacob Roses, 17th with 2:30.32; Jason White, 21st with 2:32.03; Brayden Weyrauch, 31st with 2:43.93; and Joey Cotton, 33rd with 2:46.34.
1600 meters: Xavier Bell of New Town was first with a time of 4:38.09. Stanley’s Jason White was 15th with 5:35.15.
100m hurdles: Aidan Ermer of Garrison was first with a time of 16.71. Drake Schlosser of Stanley was second with 17.69; Bryan Redwan, 4th with 21.11; Alex Salgado, 5th with 22.09; Jevon Johnson, 6th with 22.11; and Austin Kanenwisher, 9th with 23.28.
300m hurdles: Rylan Hollingshead of Williams County was first with a time of 44.71. Austin Kanenwisher of Stanley was 8th with 50.45; Landon Hunting, 12th with 53.48; and Bryan Redwan, 13th with 54.56.
4x100 relay: Central McLean was first with a time of 45.02. Stanley was fifth with 46.83 with team members Drake Schlosser, Kayden Uran, Oscar Garcia and Ethyn Jessen.
4x400 relay: Central McLean was first with a time of 3:31.71. Stanley was third with 3:43.90 with team members Oscar Garcia, Logan Longmuir, Kolton Longmuir and Ethyn Jessen.
4x800 relay: New Town was first with a time of 8:19.00 with team members Ben DuBois, Lander Lahtinen, Lukas Spotted Bear and Xavier Bell. Stanley was third with 9:23.54 with team members Kolton Longmuir, Logan Neset, Cohen Bell and Logan Longmuir.
