On Monday, August 31st, 2026, Ardell Lynne, age 90, of Minot (formerly of Plaza), passed away peacefully at a Minot nursing home surrounded by his loving family. Blessed be his memory. Visitation was held on September 4th, 2026. Ardell’s funeral was held on September 5th, 2026, at First Lutheran Church, Plaza. Burial was held at East Plaza Cemetery, Plaza. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ardell may be made to the Plaza Park Board: East Cemetery or the Plaza Lutheran Church. (Langhans Funeral Home, Parshall)
Family and friends said goodbye to their beloved Sandra (Sandy) Jane Francis, who went to receive her heavenly reward on August 30, 2026, at the Good Samaritan Home in Mandan, ND. Sandy’s celebration of life service will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday, September 10, 2026, at Zion Lutheran Church, 1800 Hiawatha St SE, Minot, ND. Interment will be held at Sawyer Cemetery, Sawyer, ND. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the start of the service in the church.
