Nancy Lou Hemstad, 84, of Stanley, North Dakota, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at the Mountrail Bethel Home in Stanley, North Dakota. A public visitation was held at Springan Stevenson Funeral Home in Stanley on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, with a private family service following. Nancy’s funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the American Lutheran Church in Stanley, ND. Katie Harwood will officiate. Nancy will be laid to rest at the Knife River Cemetery in Stanley, ND.
