It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Dianne Jean (Amundson) Moen on August 5, 2025, at her dream home in Rapid City, SD, where she lost her battle with pancreatic cancer. Dianne was loved as a wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. There will be no service at this time. A day of remembrance will be held at a later date.
Michelle McNamara, 62, Bismarck, formerly of New Town, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, in Bismarck. Funeral mass was held on August 18, 2025, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, New Town. Interment was held at Van Hook Catholic Cemetery, rural New Town. (Langhans Funeral Home, Parshall)
Orville Kenneth Nyhus, 87, of New Hope, Minnesota (formerly of Stanley, North Dakota) was called home to the Lord on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at the North Memorial Health Hospital in Robbinsdale, Minnesota. There will be a public visitation held at the Our Saviors Free Lutheran Church in Stanley, ND, one hour prior to the funeral service starting at 10:00 a.m. Orville’s funeral service will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Our Savior’s Free Lutheran Church in Stanley, ND. Pastor Erin Tormanen will officiate. Orville will be laid to rest at the Rest Haven Cemetery in Palermo, ND. Darold D. Johnson, 92, of Cavalier, ND, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at his home in Cavalier with his loving family by his side. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the United Lutheran Church in Cavalier.
