Wee Care Gets Special Visitors
The children at Wee Care Learning Center Preschool in Stanley had special visitors on Tuesday, May 13 when Jenny Smith and her friends Winnie the Pooh and Tigger arrived with some of the animals affectionately known on Facebook as the “Only Llama Drama co-starring The Misfits. They got to see Tony Llama, Hilary the alpaca, and Jerry the donkey, a/k/a Eeyore.
The kids got to learn about the different animals. They also had chances to pet the llamas and alpacas.
This is the second year in a row that Smith has brought some of her misfits to visit at Wee Care. It is hard to tell who enjoys the visit more, the students or the animals.
As part of the visit, Smith has also brought a book to share with the students that helps tell the story of some of these special animals.
