Speech Team Members Qualify For State
Stanley Speech completed their regular season with Regional Speech on Saturday, April 12th.
Ten schools participated in the Region 9 meet, with Stanley hosting. The day was successful for over 46 Region 9 speech participants.
Stanley had five additional students qualify for State. River Nardacci placed 1st in Humorous Interpretation, Avery Ellis placed 2nd in Humorous Interpretation, Lilly Arnold placed 2nd in Extemporaneous Speaking, Erika Littlefield and Elizabeth Nelson placed 2nd in Serious Duo, Erika Littlefield placed 2nd in Radio, and Sienna McLaughlin placed 3rd in Impromptu.
Avery Ellis and River Nardacci previously state qualified this season in Humorous Duo and Abigail Hudelson also state qualified in Poetry.
Stanley Speech will be headed to State Speech in Mandan at the end of the month.
