Junior High Students Hold Science Fair

Junior high students were finishing off their year on Tuesday, May 20 with a science fair. Mrs. Verano’s junior high students proudly presented their creative projects and Science Investigatory Projects to the community. The students did an outstanding job demonstrating their knowledge, critical thinking, and understanding of their chosen topics. Their hard work, confidence, and enthusiasm truly impressed both the audience and the judges.
Science investigatory project winners were as follows:
First place went to the team of Molly Hamilton, Mya Anderson, Ryley Johnson, Sadee Uran, and Zoe Mortensen. Their topic was How Do Stricter Phone Rules Affect Students’ Learning and Focus?
Second place went to the team of Delaney Dupay, Evy Davis, Scarlett Raasakka, Hadley Reum, and Tony Wing. Their topic was How Do Students Perform When a Reward Is Involved?
Third place went to the team of Reese Mortensen, River DeTienne, Larson Fjeldahl, Harlow Schow, and Kiplee Nordloef. Their topic was How Do Students Learn Better: Experiential or Traditional Learning?
