Flickertail Village Celebrates The 4th Of July

Flickertail Village Celebrates The 4th Of July

Flickertail Village Museum extends a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make our Fourth of July celebration such a wonderful success!
Thanks to the dedication of our incredible volunteers and the support of our community, the museum served more than 300 visitors a delicious hamburger and hot dog lunch, along with fresh popcorn throughout the day.
One of the highlights of the celebration was the quilt giveaway. Congratulations to Jordan Nelson of Lunds Valley, North Dakota, the lucky winner of the beautiful, handcrafted quilt generously made and donated by a volunteer.
A special thank you also goes to Steve and Tammy Martens for serving their popular soft-serve ice cream, a favorite treat enjoyed by visitors of all ages.
Events like these are only possible because of the generosity of our volunteers, donors, and everyone who joined us to celebrate Independence Day. Your support continues to help preserve our local history and make the Flickertail Village Museum a special place for our community.
We’re already looking ahead to an exciting milestone! Next year marks the museum’s 50th Anniversary, and we invite everyone to celebrate with us on Sunday, July 4, 2027, as we commemorate five decades of preserving the heritage of our area. Our dedicated volunteers are already planning a memorable celebration that we hope you’ll be a part of.
The museum will remain open through Labor Day this year, and we look forward to welcoming you back for another visit. Thank you again for making this year’s Fourth of July celebration one to remember!
