Farmers Market Season Continues

Stanley Farmer’s Market’s season continues on Thursdays this summer. The market is held every Thursday, from 5 to 7 p.m. in Wilson Park in Stanley.
Fresh, local produce and other home-canned and home-baked products, most made with local ingredients can be found at the market each week. You will also find home-made pickles, salsas, jams and jellies, fresh baked bread, cookies and bars, and several types of non-food products available all season long.
The garden produce is starting to show up more frequently at the market as the growing seasons continue. You can make the market a part of your weekly schedule. The market is under the pavilion and is open every Thursday until September 18, rain or shine. Harvest Fest will be held Saturday, September 27.
The market also features special events including local youth talent, church in the park, kids’ markets, and friends first markets.

One more kids’ market is set for September 11. Friends first markets are set for September 4 and 18. The Farmers Market season will wrap up with the Harvest Fest on Saturday, Sept. 27.
